“For decades, bottled water companies have spent millions of dollars to try and persuade us to buy their product. They served up ads with pristine mountain-scapes, snow-fed rivers, and we drank it up. We throw away millions of plastic bottles every year. And the bottles that don’t reach the landfill often find their way down storm drains which lead directly to the ocean. Once there, the bottles have been shown to impact wildlife.”

Check out the packaging design of a company called Faucet Face that is producing reusable glass bottles in response to this problem. They not only have fun packaging, but an environmental motivation for what they do.
