Looking for a printer or paper supplier in Dubai? It can be tough if you’re a new student or new to the UAE in general. We all want the perfect trifecta of good quality printing, reasonable prices, and fast service. After teaching in Dubai for almost 3 years now, I’ve collected a list of printers that students have used with reasonable success. Although not exhaustive, I hope you find it useful.

Small Scale (Digital) Printers

  • Desco: Good quality digital printing, binding and board mounting.
  • Spectrum: Professional quality, fast service, slightly more expensive. BONUS: you can upload your file on their website and when the project is complete, they’ll let you know to pick it up. The branch in DIFC is 24 hours during weekdays.
  • Alfurqan (located near  residential areas such as Alqarqaa, Nad Alhamar Almezhar, and more). Decent stationary and printing (but not recommend for professional use).
  • Alpha printing press (located near Jabel Ali). Good quality digital printing.

 Stationary and Art Supplies

  • Paper lane (located in Town Centre, Dubai): Scrap-booking, hand crafts, and lots of paper supplies for craft lovers.
  • Emirates Trading: The go-to art supply store with painting and drawing and other art stuffs.
  • Dubai library Distribution: Stationary, books and art supplies.
  • Borders (located in Mirdiff City Centre, Mall of the Emirates, Deira City Centre, and more): A small selection of stationary, books and art supplies

Commercial Printing

  • International printing press: Commercial printing house that offers you a full range of services including book printing and binding, magazine printing, catalogues, brochures, presentation folders, postcards, flyers, posters, etc.

Paper Supplier

  • ARJOWIGGINS is a global company that provides good quality paper with an authorized distributor based here in Dubai. I especially appreciate that they work hard to reduce the environment impact of paper manufacturing, using only elemental chlorine-free (ECF) pulps from trees grown in sustainable forests.
